Edmonton Kettlebells

We will be starting our Spring 2024 Kettlebell session on Tuesday April 23, ending on Thursday June 6th.


Our Kettlebell session runs for 7 weeks with two classes per week. Our schedule is Tuesdays and Thursday from 7-8pm and 8:15-9:15pm. We are located at Capital City Athletics, 10554-110 St. NW, the entrance is along the north side of the building where the parking lot is located.


Our Kettlebell classes are taught as a progression starting with the fundamentals in week 1. Our focus is to provide a welcoming environment for all fitness levels to learn proper form and good technique when training with Kettlebells. Let us share our love of Kettlebells with you!

New Location Capital City Athletics

Excited to be resuming in person classes


We are happy to announce that we will be resuming our Kettlebell classes at a new location! Starting January 2024, Capital City Athletics will be sharing their fitness facility with us. Capital City Athletics (CCA) is located at 10554-110 Street. If you are concerned about parking don’t be, there is plenty of parking in the parking lot or on the street.

About Kettlebells

Get Fit, FAST.Join our twice weekly classes.

Kettlebells are highly effective for burning fat and building strong lean muscle while being easy on the joints. Get fit fast with this amazing workout.


Beginner participants will learn the proper form, techniques and breathing to master the Swing, Turkish Get-Up, Windmill, Clean and the Snatch while getting a workout at the same time! Experienced participants will apply the foundational exercises they've learned in a fun and highly effective workout.


Kettlebell classes are a great way to get a fun and varied whole body workout in a short period of time.

AKC - StrongFirst Certified Kettlebell Instructor

Maria is a Certified Kettlebell instructor for StrongFirst and Agatsu Kettlebell who holds certification in Alberta Fitness Leadership and Group Exercise training. She aims to help people live stronger, healthier and happier lives with Kettlebell training. Not only will Kettlebells build your cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength it will also improve flexibility, coordination, and core strength. Kettlebell training is functional training that is accessible and practical for all, from the elite athlete looking for an edge to the sedentary person looking to discover fitness for the first time.

Alex SantizoAKC Certified Kettlebell Instructor

Alex is a certified Kettlebell instructor who has been practicing Competition and Hard Style Kettlebells for over 10 years. He is also an accomplished Muay Thai fighter who competed for many years and now continues to coach the up and coming generation of mixed martial artists at Frank Lee's Muay Thai gym. With over 20 years of fighting experience Alex attributes part of his success in the ring to his Kettlebell training, not only is it joint friendly but it also helped Alex gain the strength and endurance needed to win.
